Bergsingel is one of Rotterdam Noord's more attractive streets — tree-lined and set along the water, giving the area a calm, residential feel while remaining close to everything. The surrounding neighbourhood has a good mix of independent cafés, bakeries and restaurants, with the Zwaanshals and Noordplein areas nearby for weekend markets and local hospitality. Vroesenpark and Diergaarde Blijdorp zoo are both within easy walking distance for green space at the weekend. Connections are straightforward. Blijdorp metro station is close by on the E line, and tram and bus routes run along the neighbouring main roads. Rotterdam Centraal is a short cycle or tram ride away, putting Amsterdam, The Hague and Utrecht within comfortable reach by direct train, along with Schiphol Airport. The city centre, Markthal and Erasmus MC are all easily reached by bike, as is typical for Rotterdam.

City Retreat arranges a professional clean before you move in and at the end of the tenancy. Cleaning during the tenancy can be requested at extra cost with four days' notice.
